Trainer, addictions, and dissociation specialist Paula P. Merucci provides individual and group consultation to clinicians who have completed their EMDR Basic Training Certificates. Typically, consultation is focused on supporting consultees as they begin to integrate EMDR therapy into their own successful practice. Paula assists with concerns pertaining to particular clients and gives clarification and support while continuing the development of EMDR skills. Her specialties are in addictions and dissociation. As a trainer that teaches hundreds of masters-level and above therapists each year, Paula is regularly updated on new and evolving EMDR tools and interweaves, as our world is constantly changing. During consultation, Paula shares this updated information to help strengthen a clinician's understanding of the EMDR process and ways to honor the fidelity to the Standard EMDR Model.
